Ingredients (approx. 6 waffles)
300 ml all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp granulated sugar
A pinch of salt
2 eggs
300 ml milk
100 g butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla sugar
For serving:
Whipped cream
Fresh berries (e.g. raspberries, blackberries, redcurrants)
Sliced kiwi
Caramel sauce
Powdered sugar
Chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat the waffle iron.
In a mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk until smooth.
Stir in the melted butter.
Lightly grease the waffle iron if needed. Bake the waffles until golden and crispy.
Serve immediately with whipped cream, berries, kiwi, caramel sauce, and a dusting of powdered sugar. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top for extra crunch.
Tip: You can easily make these waffles lactose-free by substituting the milk and butter with lactose-free alternatives.
